Western hypocrisy

The Syrian delegate, backed by North Korea, points out the hypocrisy of nations such as France, Israel, Iraq and the United States, who do not want to help Syria but help Saudi Arabia, a country that also has similar extremist groups. Is it just because an economical benefit from Saudi Arabia?
